Experience

Curriculum Engineers is a partnership of two National Board Certified teachers, Amy & Meri. Amy's background includes teaching kids and coaching teachers at the elementary grade level. Meri's background is middle and high school sciences as a teacher and coach. For the past few years we have been providing professional development to teachers and it is upon the request of these teachers that has encouraged us to post some of our resources.

Teaching style

Keeping kids curious and thinking is our goal. Our lessons and centers interweave content and science skills such as observing, exploring, investigating, classifying and designing. Many teachers use our lessons and centers to differentiate in the classroom.

Awards & shining teacher moments

While we both have received Awards in education for our teaching, we find the Rewards come from the successes of the teachers and students we coach.

My own education history

Amy has a BS from Purdue University, MA in Teaching from the University of Dayton and licensure in Gifted Education and licensure in Curriculum, Instruction and Professional Development. Meri has a BA in Biology from Miami University and an MA in Science Education from Northern Kentucky University and administrative license from Xavier University.
