These are aligned for CKLA Amplify Unit 2 (3rd Grade) for Animal Classifications. The purpose of these pages were meant to engage the students during read alouds, as well as extend their learning from where I thought my students needed more of a focus. There are a few pages that show power outlines, because I felt that my students desperately needed some help with their writing.

This is meant to go along with CKLA Skills 3 for 2nd Grade (2nd Edition). I made these to tackle the Spelling Trees, since I did not have enough space to make them in my class. There are also additional word chains and spelling practices that go along with these skills. The end includes a self-reflection page.

These are meant to go along with CKLA Skills 2 for 2nd grade (2nd edition). I used these as extra practice, especially when it comes to practicing the tricky words. The book ends with a self-reflection page.

These are aligned for CKLA Amplify Unit 5 (3rd Grade) for Light and Sound. The purpose of these pages were meant to engage the students during read alouds, as well as extend their learning from where I thought my students needed more of a focus. This unit is somewhat hard for the kids to grasp, so I would highly recommend doing as much hands-on experiments as possible, using these pages as a starting point!

This is meant to be a companion to CKLA Amplify Skills 2 (2nd Grade). I wanted to have the students do more with the tricky words and this is what I made to support that. There are different activities to practice using tricky words in sentences, writing them, and also some self-reflection!

In class, we were reading about Ancient Rome and all of the gods and goddesses. This is a project that we assigned students to do at home, but it could easily be done in class as an extension project or center. The students came up with some really great stories and it ended up being one of our favorite projects of the year!

I made these when we had gone through all of the vowel teams and variant vowels and my students just needed some practice. This includes two parts: Roll and ReadSpelling Graphing and use in a sentenceEach of these include a blank one for you to make your own and add your own words you feel like your students need to work on!

This was designed to follow the chaining, dictation, and practicing tricky words as laid out in CKLA Amplify Skills 1 (2nd Grade). Also includes self-reflection pages for kids to be able to identify their "glows" and "grows".

Are you worried that your students won't be able to sit still while you read aloud the Wind of the Willows? Are you worried they won't get the story? This resource was developed to help with these problems! I used these with my students with Unit 1 (CKLA Amplify) and it really helped them with their understanding of the story and it gave them something to do while I read aloud. We would then go over these pages after I was done reading. I would recommend making this into one big packet or bookle
