I am in my 5th year of teaching, and I teach at a magnet school in North Louisiana. I teach gifted, honors, and enriched classes. I have also taught at a small rural school in Colorado and a small rural school in North Louisiana. I have a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree in Business Administration. I completed an alternate certification program to become licensed to teach. I am licensed to teach in Colorado and Louisiana in both Business Education and 7-12 Math. I have also taken graduate-level classes in STEM Education and Gifted Education.

This is a great activity for a fun/artistic day in math to help connect students to math in new ways! It also works as a great sub activity. All you need are these instructions and some construction paper for students to use to make the circles (compasses may also assist for drawing and measuring circles). I like to inspire students to take accountability for their learning and try to include creative outlets to show students that math is more than numbers and can be beautiful and creative.
