This is a rubric for a postcard project done by students. If done in class, it takes about an hour. Student instructions--You are going to create a postcard using your current vacation/travel vocab, and present progressive tense. You should write your postcard from the perspective of a person currently on vacation writing home telling what you are doing today.

This is a set of cards for you to print and cut out. Give each student a card, and then one student begins by reading their card... Me gusta (nadar). A quién le gusta (cantar)? Then the person holding that card reads and so on until all 22 cards have been read. My students love to repeat this a couple of times to see how fast they can get it done!

This very difficult practice page asks students to translate sentences using double object pronouns from English to Spanish. I use it as test/quiz review, and I let them work in teams to get it done. Includes food vocabulary.

Use these cards to start conversations, work in teams, as a cue for conversation lines or rotating circles!

Check out this minimal prep verb conjugation practice game that gets your students working in partner and small groups. This can help drill one tense or can be used for many tenses. Vocabulary can be incorporated as well. The best part is all you need to make is one set of copies, and you are ready to play this game for anywhere between 15-75 minutes!

My students use this vocabulary to help them identify when to use preterite and imperfect tenses. We treat this as a vocabulary list for the week.
