This is an APA formatted essay template. I have created a template that students merely have to highlight and change the text so that it reflects their content being studied. It is a great resource to have on hand so that teachers can post it to a website and students can download it when needed. I have also included directions for setting up the Reference page as well as a resource to help guide students through the large variety of citations that may be required.

Experience
I began teaching in February of 2004. I have been a H.S. Intervention Specialist (2 years), 7th Grade Writing Teacher, and I currently teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Social Studies as well as 8th grade Language Arts.
Teaching style
I try to balance fun with learning. I use a lot of hands-on activities in my lessons. I also incorporate Project Based Learning in my instruction.

Recently spoke at the National Middle School Conference and the Ohio Middle Level Association Conference in 2011 on the topic of Technology in the Classroom.
My own education history
I graduated from Ashland University with a Bachelor's Degree in Middle School Education with a concentration in the area of Social Studies and Language Arts.
