Michon is the Founder and President of DASH Upward. She understands the importance that each individual in the the community offers to create healthy and viable environments for the next generation. Prior to the founding of DASH Upward, Michon served in the field of Education as a Teacher and School Administrator. Her experience includes teaching Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle School, and High School. She has also owned and operated her own Child Care Center. She enjoys training and coaching educators, parents, and community members on topics that build strong communities and address current issues.

Michon has her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Wayland Baptist University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. Over the past 28 years, she has provided multiple districts, schools, parents, and community members training, coaching, and consulting to advance their practices in empowering the next generation to success.
