Experience
I'm beginning my 5th year of teaching. I have taught 1st and 2nd grade.
Teaching style
Engaging and motivating students is my biggest priority. It is for that reason that I started to create my own teaching resources. I noticed holes in my curriculum and I wanted to extend and improve my instruction using my students' interests and diverse skills. Any time my students are having fun while engaging in higher order thinking... It's a win in my book!
My own education history
I graduated with two degrees in Education and Early Childhood in Oregon. I am currently earning my masters degree in Education as well as my reading endorsement.
Additional biographical information
My hope is to create resources that are helpful, engaging and purposeful for students. Plus, some cute fonts and clipart never hurt anyone :)
