Noun Dominoes

Created by
Deafly Aware
This is a group activity based around the game of dominoes. This activity will allow students to tell the difference between the 4 different types of nouns: Person, Place, Thing, or Idea. Students will play a game of dominoes and try matching the types of nouns instead of matching numbers. The winner is the person who runs out of dominoes. This activity can be used with any standard that requires learning a concept with multiple aspects.

Teaching style

I am a very hands on teacher and feel that my students must manipulate their learning before they can truly understand it. I am also a strong believer in interactive notebooks.

My own education history

I have a bachelors in deaf education and a bachelors in middle school education with a specialty in English. Currently working on my masters in Library Science.
