This 12 page 2-3 lesson package leads the studetns through the basics of graphing linear equations (quadrants, x and y-intercepts, slopes, slope-y intercept equation and identifying linear vs non-linear equations). It is meant to be a self discovery lesson with minimal guidance from the instructor.

This 10 page student led lesson allows students to discover the effects of h and k values (horizontal and vertical shifts)on various functions. Included is a 27 question worksheet to reinforce the concepts.

Five page assignment asks students to analyze the graphs of polynomial functions and determine where the first and second derivatives are positive/negative. The students ae then asked to sketch the fist and second derivative curves. A key is provided.
