My Word Book is a spelling dictionary for each student's personal use. Included are common sight words for each letter of the alphabet for students to refer to when writing. Additionally, there are spaces provided for students to add words to their own spelling dictionary. It's almost like having their own personal word wall! This has been a helpful resource for my students when they are writing. When asked how to spell a specific word, I always have them refer to their spelling dictionary.

For example, if Joe's birthday is March 13th, I take a picture of Joe with the number card "13th". After each picture is taken, I will print the pictures and laminate them. Finally, I post the picture under the month heading. So Joe's picture would be posted under March. If your school has a "Meet Your Teac

Race Around the Clock allows students to practice moving the hands of the clock at various intervals. All of the clocks start at 12:00. Students chose cards from the card pile that tell how much time has passed and they move the hands of the clock accordingly. It is a race to be the first player that reaches 12:00. This is a requested game for my early finishers. The cards have been differentiated for various grade levels.
