This is a guided reading record sheet where you can record your observations about students, give them a level of understanding/comprehension of the text and a section to give students a level for fluency. At the bottom you can add a take away task for students to complete for next time.

Students will use this organizer to self assess themselves on the learning skills on their report card. Students will use their knowledge of Pulleys and Gears to create a system that will get them from the top of the roof to the bottom. This is an in class assignment. This is a form you can leave for supply teachers to fill out about the day. It has a spot to include students who were helpful, who were disruptive and a space to fill out what was accomplished each period. If you need periods changed or added please message me and I can make the changes.

This is student practice examples on inferring with pictures. These images that can be found in the newspaper and also show peoples emotions. The topics include physical features, vegetation, animals, natural resources and climate. This is meant to supplement the new Social Studies document (Ontario) for Political and Physical Regions of Canada.

This is a blank story template that students can use to write their good copies of stories they are writing in class. I have made 10 posters that explain each character trait and relates them to books in class. You can post these each month or all year and underneath list or put pictures of things you have read that meet this trait. Its a great way to help students understand each one. Students will use their knowledge of money to make change for $1. They are not to use a 1 dollar coin. Since in Canada we don't have the penny anymore that can also be an instruction you add when your doing this with your students. This was done as a formative assessment part way through the math unit. If you would like me to change this to another denomination please e-mail me and that can be done.

This a soils review pamphlet that can be done at the end of the unit to show their learning. I have included 2 versions. The first one is a regular version where students will write down their thinking as well as can draw pictures. The second version is modified for MLL or SPEC ed students who may need it. This is a color coded 100s chart that shows students when to round up and when to round down. The file is a PDF and can be enlarged to put up in the classroom or kept to an 8x11 sheet to be given to each student.

I have created a whole numbers bingo game to match the grade 2 Ontario curriculum for numbers up to 200. The bingo cards have numbers represented in different ways such as base ten blocks, standard form, expanded form, ten frames etc. There are 6 cards in this game as well as a sheet for teachers with all numbers used to help with the caller. This can be cut out and pulled from a bag or dabbed with a white eraser marker. I hope you enjoy it!!

This product is a 4 piece puzzle. Each puzzle piece is labelled with topics such as Base 10 name, Written form etc. Students would either pick a number or the teacher provides on based on their ability. Students will show that number in the appropriate way on the puzzle piece.

This paper should be used to record the data from the DRA reading assessment. It is broken into each part that is assessed and there is spot to put their final mark and whether the student has reached grade level or not.

This activity is doubled sided. The front asks students to share the perspective of the same character in two different stories. (such as a fairy-tale and a fractured fairy-tale) They will compare the two using jot notes. On the back there are 4 comprehension questions about the texts. This is meant to help students see the two different points of view of the same character.
