Scientist - What is a Scientist?
Fully scripted lesson in the 5E Lesson Framework introducing students to work of scientists using hands-on experience and writing. Framework includes: Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate and Evaluate student learning using inquiry.
Students explore, observing an object from the school yard or provided by teacher, and record observation in a Science Notebook (printable provided).
Students learn the different types of scientists and extend learning with a matching game.

Teaching style
I work with students and teachers using inquiry-based methods in hands-on, minds-on learning. Students think, investigate, record, then share, communicating thinking and learning in small and whole group settings.
