Differentiated Design

10 question assignment addressing rates and ratios. Includes equivalency tables, double number lines, coordinate grids, and multiple choice items. May be used as whole class teaching examples, independent practice, or as an end of unit quiz. Appropriate for grades 4-6.

This resource includes five activities appropriate for students in pre-algebra or early algebra courses and ranging in difficulty. Whether working only in Quadrant I, or in all four quadrants, this resource can provided scaffolded practice to meet the needs of all your students, regardless of current ability. My personal favorite is the "turtle activity" inspired by LogoPaths (an awesome geometry resource- check it out!).

This product is a template. First, model how to use the template using a real world example from your life. In order to build relationships with students and make progress towards goals, use appropriate context vocabulary to elicit classroom communication.
