This is the revamped version of the STAAR Practice test created a few years ago. Some questions have remained the same, but many are new to reflect the NEW TEKS. The TEA blueprint for the STAAR test was used to help create a balanced test covering the right percentages of each TEK, reporting category, and readiness/supporting standards. Students play Follow the Path (modeled after Fountas and Pinnell game) to read words with suffixes and learn their meanings.

This resource includes five activities appropriate for students in pre-algebra or early algebra courses and ranging in difficulty. Whether working only in Quadrant I, or in all four quadrants, this resource can provided scaffolded practice to meet the needs of all your students, regardless of current ability.
