About the store
I have spent the last twelve years teaching students with special needs in grades 5 through 8. I have taught many subject areas including Math, Reading, Grammar, Social Studies, Science, Health, and Religion. In addition, I have taught adult education classes on Time Management, Organization, Goal Setting, Basic Writing, Basic Math, and Resume Writing. I have brought these lessons into the middle school classroom in a series I call Lunch and Learn where students come during their lunch time, and we review these topics. This has left me with many extraordinary experiences, and materials that cover many areas.

Fashion Forward: Real Life Application of Using Percentages
Everyone loves to get a deal when shopping. In this activity, students will create an outfit with accessories, price the items, work through discounting items, finding a total price, and making change. This task engages all students with creative math components. The product contains two levels of the instruction sheet and three levels of the worksheet document, as well as a sample product. Teaching style
My preferred teaching style is exploration and investigation. I find that all students can participate in this type of learning with the appropriate scaffolding.
