This is a weekly bell work that focuses on comparing and contrasting. On Monday, the students have to come up with ideas to fill out the Venn Diagram. Next, on Tuesday they use their ideas from Monday to fill out the paragraph frame. Then, the process repeats again for Wednesday and Thursday but with a new topic. Lastly, Friday's has a picture for which they must write a paragraph about. This one also has a paragraph frame provided. This is week #2.

Assign a topic to discuss to your students and have them use the template to complete their own argumentative paragraph. The scaffolding makes this product perfect for introducing the topic, EL's and Special Education students.

Utilize this resource to write paragraphs about any particular subject. Guide the students using the bubble map to write information about the topic. Then, using the color coding the students can fill in their paragraph frames with their information from the bubble map. It is a great resource because you can use it over and over again with different topics.
