This is an additional tool to practice using the RACE strategy. I attached the link to an all time classic story, "The Giving Tree." This resource includes the questions that will be answered using the now very popular graphic organizer I created.

Use the CUBES strategy to solve real world mathematical problems. This is a great way of breaking down math word problems. Everything is color coded so students can easily see how breaking down a word problem can help them answer it.

I use this template as a guide when writing an essay for English Learner's and my Special Education students. The tree map helps them organize their ideas and the sentence frames provide them with a starting point. You can reuse this on countless essays.
