About the store

Experience

In my teaching career I have taught a wide range of technology courses to students at the middle and high school levels, including: - 7th grade technology - 8th grade technology - Woodworking - Construction - Principles of Engineering - Computer Aided Design - Technical/Mechanical Drawing - Design

Teaching style

I use a variety of teaching strategies, but I prefer to let me students learn by doing. Most of my resources are designed as skill-builders for students to use as they practice technical drawing, CAD skills, measurement, etc. I love hands-on projects, and have also developed a lot of resources for facilitating hands on learning on the workshop environment. I rely heavily on digital teaching tools, videos, and other forms of multimedia.

My own education history

I earned my Bachelors and Masters in Technology Education from SUNY Oswego in Oswego, NY. I am a certified PLTW teacher in multiple Gateway to Technology units (RIT) as well as Intro to Engineering Design (RIT) and Principles of Engineering (MSOE).
