This project took 3 days for my classes, and each of my classes are about an hour and a half long. This worksheet is for students to find video examples of different genres of dance using technology. The genres include ballet, tap, jazz, modern/contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, and hip-hop. They also have to explain what makes that video that specific style.
This is a Hall Pass sheet for students to keep. Students are allowed to leave the classroom 5 times during each 9-weeks for any reason (except during instruction time.) When the students are out of passes, they are not allowed to leave for any reason except for an emergency. I offer extra credit for extra passes at the end of each 9-weeks.
