Do It Write the First Time

This activity is a fun one and is easily adaptable to fit your student's music tastes, your music tastes, or any particular story that you are working on. Here is an activity that I did at the beginning of the year with my 7th graders! It helped me get to know their future ambitions and I had something inspirational to hang up for the rest of the year. I let all of the students decorate their lightbulb and hung them all around a poster that read, "The Future is Bright and Full of Possibility!" Parents enjoyed seeing what their children had dreamed up on Open House. This file contains the lightbulb outline and a question to prompt student thought.
