About the store
Hi there! I have over 24 years experience working within the realm of special education services and teaching. I have worked in all settings (self-contained, resource, inclusion, administration) and across all grade levels (PK, elementary, middle, high, adult). I seriously doubt there is a situation out there I haven't encountered in these 20+ years. This store will, hopefully, provide Special Education Teachers with the opportunity to partake of resources I have built over this time. From simple tracking sheets to AI data analysis [NEW!] Because I will be focusing on the integration of AI into SPED case management (data driven IEPs that connect all the dots from the first page to the last), I am having to modify most of my PLAAFP templates to be structured so the program accurately interprets the data. Garbage In > Garbage Out I look forward to taking this journey into the future of Special Education IEP document writing. Welcome aboard!

IEP Planning Checklist

This document is an IEP development tracking document I have recently developed. I was tired of MISSING steps! This document is based upon the Synergy IEP writing system and may not be compatible with your individual district needs; however, parts of the document are also generic and could be used with any IEP.

Accommodations Tracking

Inclusion Teachers, you will want this document in your toolbox! This MS Word Form (you will need the desktop application to utilize the Form features) has been a life saver in my co-taught classrooms this year. It lists many of the common classroom/testing accommodations along the top of the form, has check boxes and drop down menu options!! If it isn't along the top, there is an "other" box you can type in--plus an "other" checkbox up top so you'll be reminded to look below too!

Gen Ed Teacher Feedback Data

NOTE: This data form is designed to be used with a MS Form responses. A copy of the form template is available in my "free" section. I developed this spreadsheet as a way to collect teacher feedback on the students I case manage (students with IEPs). I have been collecting this data for several years but was unable to "quantify" (data! data! data!) the results effectively. Then came AI [ChatGPT]. To Utilize: Collect responses from a minimum of 5 general education teacher (less than 5 means the d

Teacher Feedback Template

This file is the PDF file to go with the Teacher Feedback spreadsheet (also in my TPT store). Utilizing this template you can create a form (google or microsoft) for teachers to input their responses. Once the data has been input into the spreadsheet, it can be input into AI to generate a snapshot of your student's educational and functional abilities. To be utilized during the IEP development process.

Teaching style

Visual, Visual, Visual!! I am always asking students, and teachers, "what does that look like?" "The student was disruptive," - what does that look like? "__had a melt down in class," - what did that look like? "We are covering African History," - by doing what, specifically? I have yet to find a scenario where VISUALS are not the universal teaching language. :-)

Awards & shining teacher moments

Seeing the proverbial "light bulb" go off in my students' eyes is the only award I need.
