Students will deepen conceptual understanding of equivalent fractions and simplifying fractions with a variety of models: Fraction Strips, Multiplication Charts, and Prime Factorization. Students will practice and reinforce methods for simplifying fractions by engaging with interactive slides and a variety of models.
