These are portions of the Yalta Conference from WWII. I usually have students work in groups and analyze what the conference is all about. The last page is has students use reader apprenticeship skills for close reading (talk to the text, roadblocks, etc.) When done I have students listen to the summaries from other students to get a full understanding of how the Yalta Conference influences the end of the war and connect it to what will happen in the Cold War.
