This task is intended to assess student application of area and perimeter for 2-D Shapes. Every year my students get excited to complete this assessment. This is a fun way to get your students engaged while learning Life Cycles. Using live mealworms, students will watch their mealworm go through metamorphosis all while documenting the experience.
