About the store
This is my 21st year in education. I originally went to school for elementary education. My first year out of school, I was lucky enough to get a job teaching junior high mathematics. I spent 16 years teaching a variation of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math along with RtI. I completed my masters in 2008 and my doctorate in 2020. I have spent hours reading and studying mathematics and how students learn mathematics for fun and for my dissertation research. It has become a passion of mine and I LOVE it! This is my 5th year as a K-8 math instructional coach.

One Step Equations Thanksgiving Turkey
This is an alternative to a regular one step equation worksheet. Students will solve the problems in the picture and color the section the appropriate color. This is great for a time filler, sub plans, Thanksgiving math activity, or as an alternate worksheet. It includes only mulitplication and division one step equations.
5th - 8th

This is an alternative to a regular addition practice worksheet. Students will solve the problems in the picture and color the section with the appropriate color. This is great for a time filler, sub plans, Christmas math activity, or as an alternate worksheet. Two digit addition problems with regrouping are included.

Options:
*students can take workseet to grocery store to fill out prices and units
* teacher can supply class with items and prices line a mini grocery store, students record and solve
* Students can use internet to research prices and units at a local grocery store.
