About the store

I currently teach mathematics at Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta Georgia. I have been teaching middle school for fourteen years. I have taught high school mathematics for seven years and was department chair. I was an elementary mathematics coach for three years. For three years, I also taught mathematics online as a undergraduate professor and designed mathematics curriculum for two online schools. I am the 2013 PRESIDENTIAL MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE AWARD WINNER for the state of Georgia! :)

In this game, students will be able to apply properties of operations as strategies to add, subtract, multiply and divide to solve simple equations. I have been been playing SMART SPOONS with the students in my classroom since 2004. I love this game and decided to modify it for my students to help perfect their skills.
