This page includes four word problems so you can use it as a quick assessment or teach students how to look out for the pitfalls that they might come across when reading them. See the bottom one in the sample to see how difficult it can be. While I recommend it for third grade it would work for upper level second grade and lower level fourth.
Great for STAAR practice!

Teaching style
Many of my lessons and worksheets promote a dynamic hands on approach to classroom learning that help students not only absorb but enjoy learning. Almost every item can be adapted for differentiated learning.

My own education history

Additional biographical information
I am a deaf survivor of two near fatal car accidents. The struggle to recover has not only given me an internal strength but the ability to create materials that help students achieve the best that they are capable of.
