I am sure that many of you have heard of social stories and video modeling. You have probably even used one or both of these methods to teach social/communication skills. The Digital Social Book (using a script much like a Social Story) breaks down a target behavior into its most simplistic steps and then places it into a book format. Short video clips are then embedded within the story to provide a living model of each of the smaller tasks required to complete the target behavior.

Why Do I Think What I Think? therapy materials allow you to teach your students to look for nonverbal cues used to convey feelings.
Students are able to provide answers with or without cuing. Cuing consists of directing the students to identify facial expression details ("What am I doing with my mouth?"), body language ("What am I doing with my finger?"), and contextual cues ("Where am I?"). In addition, multiple choice answers are provided for students if needed.
