This is a weekly behavior chart I created based upon the needs in my classroom. I use it in specific cases for students needing closer monitoring. This could also be used in conjunction with a "color chart" too, by coloring in the section with the faces. Please note that these documents are intended for individual use only.

Simplified version of "Math About Me" back-to-school/introductory activity. This adds the child's name, and only asks for basic math operations (addition/subtraction). This Word doc will allow you to get to know your students at the beginning of the year. It also has a question for the student to ask the teacher something too. I put a sailboat icon on it to go with my nautical-themed classroom, then asked the kids (I have 3rd grade) to color the page, decorate it, draw a picture, etc.

About the store

Experience

I'm currently a 5th-grade teacher, doctoral student, and presenter. I am formerly an instructional coach, elementary reading teacher, high school religion teacher, Montessori teacher's assistant, etc.

Teaching style

My pedagogy always seeks to utilize the constructivist method. I want students to employ a growth-mindset, and be aware of their thinking as it happens (i.e. metacognition).
