This is a simple, two sided sheet that can be shared with your students to fill out. It starts with them watching 3 videos that explains symbiosis. Students then fill out a chart to show their understanding. Finally, they are encouraged to research cool relationships on the internet and then report out on three of them. I teach 5th grade and my students have other subjects, so I feel this is just enough for a week assignment for science during distance learning.
My students needed help solving patterns between X and Y Coordinate points. These are 5 tables, each involving 2 steps between X and Y for students to solve. Answer key included... so make sure not to post whole document.
In preparation for writing (and performing) poetry I share videos of poetry performances and have them respond to each poem. My hope is that they get inspired to write poems of their own (and perform them). This was my assignment during one week of distance learning and my kids loved it.
