These questions go along with the documentary The Kingdom - How Fungi Made Our World which is found online or via Curiosity Stream. You must have access to the documentary to use this assignment. The film covers evolutionary history and fungi's important role in life on Earth. I show it in my high school level Biology course. Answer Key is included. There are 26 total questions; 25 during the video and one follow up question for the end. I do not own the rights to this documentary or the imag
This digital assignment has students drag and drop text box items to their correct location on the venn diagram to compare and contrast Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration. Great for a quick check for understanding or Quiz. When assigning digitally to students, note that I have added the Answer Key as the second slide. You will want to Copy the 1st Slide into a new Google Slide and assign only that so that students do not see the Answer Key!
Google slides activity where students are given images of cells in the cell cycle to label with the correct phase by typing into a pre-placed text box on the slide. Interphase / Prophase / Metaphase / Anaphase / Telophase / Cytokinesis Includes a link to my video which teaches students how to add a text box in the assignment if they are struggling.
There is an option to use the blank table or a table with a few answers filled in (great for mods). This is something I created for my Biology classes as a "pop-assignment" after teaching the 4 macromolecules / organic compounds. It could also be used as a Quiz or a Graphic Organizer for students to add to their notes. When used as an assessment, this gives a quick and easy way to see if students grasp the basics of biomolecules.
Google Doc assignment with Punnett Squares your kids can type into easily as they're already formatted! Includes an example problem to start with some scaffolding. Covers mendelian inheritance, codominance, incomplete dominance, sex-linked, blood types, and has a bonus problem. 7 problems in total!
This is an assignment on google slides where students have a concept map for cellular transport / homeostasis and they're given a word bank to fill in the concept map blanks. The students type in the text box to fill in the concept map. The word bank can be removed for more rigor or for a quiz. When assigning digitally to students, note that I have added the Answer Key as the second slide. You will want to Copy the 1st Slide into a new Google Slide and assign only that so that students do not s
