This is a small template that I have used before exams to better allow students to gauge their learning. It allows them to see if they are able to truly answer the learning targets asked. It suggests students rank their own learning on a scale of 1-5 ( 1 needing the most help / 5 meaning they are a professor). My main focus every year is about making the connections with the students. Building the rapport with the students and making the students aware of their own abilities. Positive reinforcement, manageable activities, any thing I can do to make the student have a positive experience in the classroom AND gain confidence in themselves.
