This is the comic strip template I used with my Natural Disasters Comic Strip activity (found it on Pinterest).

After researching and reading about 5 different natural disasters, I used this as the culminating project/assessment for my mini unit. Students have to design a one pager about one specific natural disaster we learned about. They must include specific information such as causes and effects of the disaster, 3 interesting facts about it, and what it looks like when it occurs. They must also include text features that are found in non-fiction texts. The directions sheet includes a checklist

There are several versions of BINGO cards. I use these to review the vocabulary that is on the Messenger Unit Test. The cards have both terms and definitions on them, so students will get practice knowing the definitions both ways.
