I'm Bored. What Else Can I Do?
Do you have students that are always finished early and want more to do? These activities can work for a variety of learners, but this list is compiled from my experience with GT students/fast finishers.
3rd - 6th
English Language Arts, Math, Science
Dream Vacation Project
Brainstorm with the students several places in the U.S. that they would like to visit. Divide students into groups. Then allow 15-20 minutes for the groups to work together and choose their destinations. Remind them to consider time and amount of money they have to spend. Each group should choose a different destination. At this point give each student a copy of the Dream Vacation Rules sheet and have them get started.
