My mother and I combined have 20+ years in education. My mother (Judy Brown) worked in the special education field and the 2nd grade classroom. She is still involved with children through systematic testing 3 times a year. She also tutors students in reading. I (Rachel Thiry) will start my 5th year in the 3rd grade classroom. Graphing Smarties
Graphing Smarties was created as a fun activity for my students to complete while learning from home during the Coronavirus closure. However, the work can be easily completed in the classroom setting. I wanted to give them a treat but incorporate learning fun too! To complete the activity I sent two packages of Smarties to each student along with the worksheet. Two versions of the activity are included. The first can be used in the classroom.
