Teaching style

My teaching style is eclectic. My style tends to shift according to what my students need. I usually start with the gradual release model, but will shift to more student exploration if the opportunity presents itself. I like a structured classroom with high engagement, meaning that I work hard to set rules and procedures so my classroom runs smoothly. I believe this is extremely important because time is precious.

We all like to watch sports (both kids play multiple sports) and just hang out. We are avid Arkansas Razorback fans. GO HOGS! Empty nest will not be my friend. My husband and I like to cook and binge watch tv. My best stress reliever is the treadmill with a good chick flick on the Hallmark channel.
