About the store

Experience

I am a 3rd grade teacher in a departmentalized school teaching reading, writing and social studies to ELL and general education students. I have experience teaching 4th grade reading, writing, social studies, math and science. Additionally, I worked as a permanent substitute in a K-6 school working with all grades and subject areas including physical education, music and technology.

Teaching style

My classroom is a collaborative learning environment where the learning is student-centered. I continue to encourage students to explore and express themselves through visible thinking, technology infused lessons and accountable talk discussions.

My own education history

I earned my masters degree in Educational Technology (K-12) from Adelphi University and my bachelors degree in Childhood Education (1-6) from SUNY Cortland.
