This editable graphic organizer will assist students in answering ANY short response question using the RACE strategy (Restate-Answer-Cite Evidence-Explain). Graphic organizer has a section for students to restate and answer the question, cite TWO pieces of text based evidence and explain how their details prove their answer is correct. Students will use a check off box to make sure they are adding all pieces of the RACE strategy in their answer.

Do you have your students practicing their reading skills on Raz Kids? This editable document will give students a way to share the books they have read on their account and share their quiz score. This provides students with a way to be accountable for their reading.

Students can use this to write a short book review about the books they read. They will give a reason why their classmate should or shouldn't read this book and rate the book using a 5-star rating.

Students will use the short text, Working Hard, to describe how one event in a story builds on to another event in the story. (RL 3.5) This document has two copies of the story and question to save paper :)

Group captains can use this checklist to keep their group members accountable for their speaking and listening skills. There are two checklists on a page.

This letter is intended to be a communication between parent and teacher to create awareness about student's individual book bags. It can be printed on cardstock paper or laminated to stay in student's book bags.
