"Are you today's mystery student?" Sign. Every morning choose a popsicle stick at random (each popsicle stick has a student's name on it). Watch that student all day, they are today's mystery student. If that students exceeds expectations they are tomorrow's VIP Student. I give my VIP Student a special seat and a supply bin with special markers, pens, fidget toys. This is a great reminder for students that they may be today's mystery student. A great classroom management tool.
