I created this as a super simple way to introduce positive and negative numbers to one of my classes. It is a very basic activity but engaging enough to entertain students. It is a simple back from break, before a holiday, activity.
Students self reflect on their own Academic and Social Emotional Competencies. Students also set two goals at the end, for both. The main idea is that students can find the connection between social-emotional and academic competencies.
