About the store
Hello, I began my teaching career in 2011 in a self-contained ED unit. I had students from grades K-5 my first year, then 3rd-9th my second year. I left that school district to move closer to home where I took over a Multiple Handicapped Unit. I had students in 3rd-6th grade and I taught all subject areas. After two more years of self-contained classrooms I decided that I wanted to give inclusion a try and moved to a cross-discipline co-teaching situation. I co-taught in a classroom with general education teachers grades 7-10 Science and Social Studies. That means I covered the general 7-8 science and social studies curriculum as well as high school Biology, Physical Science, American History, Government, and Vietnam (this was an elective class with a high population of students with special needs).

This is a short quiz for the book David Goes to School by David Shannon. The quiz was used to assess student's readiness to take an Accelerated Reader computer based assessment on the book. The questions are unique and do not duplicate the accelerated reader questions, but is a good indicator of student attention to the text.

Teaching style

Due to the various teaching situations that I have been in over the past five years, I have had to learn to be extremely flexible, a quick thinker, and excellent at speedy differentiation.
