Experience

I have been teaching either first or second grade since 2011. I have been in first grade for the last eight years and have found the perfect spot for myself! Teaching style

I use a lot of cooperative learning structures and like to pull in character education whenever I can. I am always looking for new ways to incorporate technology into the classroom.

I live in sunny Florida with my cat Maggie, who is content to put up with my time spent creating on the computer as long as she can nap under my desk lamp and occasionally control the touch-screen monitor with her tail!
