I have been teaching for 13 years. I have a Masters in Education and a Masters in Leadership: Math Specialist. Math is definitely a passion mine. I created this store 9 years ago and took a hiatus, as life unfolded.

Print on normal size yardstick, laminate, and cut in half for student use.

Place Value Roll
Here are three different versions of a place value game. This game involves practicing tens and ones with ten frames and with base ten blocks. There is also a blank version to alter however you deem fit. I used a triangle to help students see that the digit in the tens and ones place are "pushed together" or funneled closer to create the number. Then by building, showing, and expanding it they gain knowledge in what that number is truly representing and why that triangle strategy works. Before y
