About the store

I have been teaching for 13 years. I have a Masters in Education and a Masters in Leadership: Math Specialist. Math is definitely a passion mine. I created this store 9 years ago and took a hiatus, as life unfolded. If you are looking for a fun math game to incorporate into your lesson or a task please don't hesitate to ask - I'd be more than happy to create a game upon request if possible! Here are three different versions of a place value game. This game involves practicing tens and ones with ten frames and with base ten blocks. There is also a blank version to alter however you deem fit. I used a triangle to help students see that the digit in the tens and ones place are "pushed together" or funneled closer to create the number. Then by building, showing, and expanding it they gain knowledge in what that number is truly representing and why that triangle strategy works. Before y
