This is a writing checklist that I used with my students when we were focusing on wring a solid paragraph. I printed these in color, cut them out for each student, and taped it to their desk with clear packing tape. After students finished their writings, they checked their work with this checklist. This is a behavior plan that was created to be used for one student. There are 6 behavior plans on the paper. The teacher would cut out the plans out and use one for each day. This plan was designed to be used and initiated with the student. The teacher would create a goal with the student, discuss behavior expectations, and tape a plan on the students' desk each day. These organizers are great tools to help students with their informative writing. This type of organizer is best used for those students who need practice writing a solid paragraph. Step 2 is writing ONE paragraph. If students are ready to write more than one paragraph, I would print them another step 2 & have them add more details to their original main idea organizer in step 1. step #1: brainstorm (page 1)The students would first decide what they are witting about (this is their main idea).
