This is a writing checklist that I used with my students when we were focusing on wring a solid paragraph. This is a behavior plan that was created to be used for one student. There are 6 behavior plans on the paper. The teacher would cut out the plans out and use one for each day. This plan was designed to be used and initiated with the student. The teacher would create a goal with the student, discuss behavior expectations, and tape a plan on the students' desk each day. My focus each school year when September 11, comes around is to celebrate our first responders. We honor our first responders with a discussion followed by this activity. During the discussion we talk about who first responders are and why they play an important role in our communities. Students can cut and glue the paper to create a the USA flag. On the other side of the flag they can write who first responders are and why they are important.
