Engaging Elementaries

Utilize the slides to teach students a variety of prefixes to enhance vocabulary skills. Slides are broken up to about 5 prefixes each week. Slides include the meaning, examples, and additional sentence for context. Each week ends with a slide that allows students to practice all of the words just taught using whiteboard, paper, or discussion to check-in and review.

Intended use is for 3 weeks of learning. Students can practice 4 suffix a week. Included engaging activity to begin interest and understanding of how to identify words that contain a suffix.
