Wonders 2020 Grade 4 vocabulary slides Unit 2 Weeks 1-5 Each has the word, definition, visual, and prompt to engage students!

Help students become familiar with being able to identity parts of speech including: Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives, and Adverbs. Each part of speech comes with an activity for students to practice that specific topic. At the end there is a four corner games for students to get up and moving to decided which category the word correlates to. Get to know your students, and help them find similarities with each other in this "This or That" activity! Great to use as a quick movement break during the first few days of routines and procedures. It helps you be able to understand the preferences of your students, have some find, and help them find connections with their peers. Can be done a few slides, or all 18, depending on the time you have.

Utilize the slides to teach students a variety of prefixes to enhance vocabulary skills. Slides are broken up to about 5 prefixes each week. Slides include the meaning, examples, and additional sentence for context. Each week ends with a slide that allows students to practice all of the words just taught using whiteboard, paper, or discussion to check-in and review.
