This is a project in which students will create their own word problem based upon a World Record. This project can be used as a summative assessment. Background, requirements, and guidelines for the project are embedded.
In this class activity, students will have to collect data in order to solve a problem and create their own conversion factors. This activity is best done in pairs.
This worksheet is a theme based worksheet on the Hindenburg. It is recommended that you show a short video on the Hindenburg before giving the word problems as a historical review. The problems in this worksheet are based upon an article and video I viewed on the History Channel.
