Solving Word Problems with Graphic Organizers
This product outlines how to solve one-step word problems using the graphic organizer method of WIK and WINK. "WIK" is "What I Know About My Problem" "WINK" is "What I Need to Know About My Problem" Students will determine what they already know about their problem, such as whether they need to add or subtract, and then determine what the question is asking them to find. At the bottom of the graphic organizer, they will solve the problem.
